How to Play: Just like in Hot Potato, pass around a bouquet of flowers while wedding themed songs like "Here Comes the Bride" play. When the music stops, whoever has the bouquet is out. Last one left with the bouquet wins!

The Idea: Who can make the best bridal gown out of toilet paper?

What you Need:

Toilet Paper (and lots of it)

Scissors

Tape

How to Play:  Tell the guests to break up into groups.  Give them a time limit and tell them they have to make the best wedding dress they can out of the supplies you give them.  At the end of the time limit, have the groups model off their creations.  The one the bride likes the most wins!

Find out which guest knows the couple the best with this exciting game.  The best way to do it is to do multiple choice and hand out papers with the questions and answers.

The guest with the most correct answers gets a prize.

Sample questions to ask:

What was the (bride's) and (groom's) first date?
a) Movies
b) Skydiving 
c) Day at the beach
d) Starbucks


Other questions you could ask would be:
Where did the groom propose at?
When was their first date?
Where are they honeymooning at?
Who introduced them?

The bride then has to guess who each underwear/lingerie gift was from.Think of something embarrassing for the bride to do for each wrong answer.

Bachelorette Parties-This is also a great game for bachelorette parties.  Play before you head out for the night.

The Idea:  The bride needs to get dressed in complete darkness on her wedding night.

What you Need:

Bag, suitcase, some sort of container

Assorted clothes-bras, robe, pajamas, sweatpants

Assorted accessories-sunglasses, scarves, hats, work gloves

Blindfold

How to Play:  Tell the guests and bride to pretend the wedding is over and it is the wedding night. The motel/cruise/resort that the couple is staying in loses all electricity and the bride must prepare for her wedding night in complete darkness. Next blindfold the bride and hand her the suitcase, bag, or container. She must put on everything in the suitcase, over her clothes, in 2 minutes. 

To make it more interesting, put items in it such as huge bras, sunglasses, men's underwear, work gloves, trucker hats, ugly scarves, or anything else that may bring a laugh.  The more ridiculous the items, the better! Look at thrift stores for great items. 

Be sure to take a picture when the bride is done!  It's also a good idea to have a mirror there for the bride to see herself in all of her glory.

How to Play:
Every guest writes in what gifts they think the bride will receive. They can be specific or fairly general Ex. Cuisinart 4-Cup Coffee Maker or coffee-maker Then when the bride is opening her gifts, the guests cross off the ones that she received to make Bingo. Everytime a guest gets Bingo, they get a prize.

Sure to start lots of stories and provide plenty of laughs, the game is a great way to get the guests talking. Bridal Shower Game Idea: Playing DDR & Game Hero

Geeksugar has a unique bridal shower idea. Instead of the normal bridal shower games, if the bride and her friends are more into games, why not play video games instead? After all, many of us spend our Saturday nights playing Guitar Hero or Wii Bowling-shouldn't our showers reflect what the bride likes.

Of course playing video games at showers is not for everyone. You might want to stick with games that are easy to play and understand if inviting the bride's Great-Aunt. Playing video games is also a great way of having the guests mix and mingle at co-ed bridal showers.

Create custom crossword puzzles to hand out at a bridal shower. Luckily websites like this one allow you to create crossword puzzles for FREE with your own clues and answers. Not sure what to put-try basic clues and answers like:

• where did the bride & groom meet
• age of bride when they met
• their honeymoon location
• where he proposed
• where their first date was
• who is her maid of honor?
• type of ring she has

For bachelorette parties, you can always change the clues to something raunchier. (Age of bride's first kiss, how many dates they waited, etc)

How to Play:

1) Make a list of words falling under various categories that all begin with the same letter.

2) Set the timer.

3) Before the timer goes off, the players must come up with words to fulfill the category that no-one else will have thought of.

4) Do each category separately as different rounds.

5) After the timer goes off, read the answers aloud. All players do this for each numbered item on the list.

6) Players get points for having words that no-one else thought of for that category.

Remember, the same player can't use the exact same answer more than once in a round.

For example if the category was wedding gown designers and the letter is A, guests could come up with Amsale, Alfred Angelo, Angelina, Anne Barge, or Anjolique. If one guest said Amsale and no other guest said Amsale, that guest would get a point for that answer.

Instead of a letter die, use the first letter of the bride, a combination of the bride & groom's, or the bride's monogram.

The Idea: Now that the bride is about to be married, does she know what to do in the kitchen?

What you Need: Various kitchen gadgets

How to Play: Pull out one gadget at a time. The bride has to guess what the gadget does and/or what it's called. If the bride doesn't get it right, let the guests guess.

Variations: If the guest gets it right, you could let the guest keep it. Or for every gadget the bride gets wrong, have her chew gum or stuff marshmallows in her mouth-if she gets everyone wrong she could end up with a mouth full unable to talk.

List of topics-place in jar or basket

How to Play: For this game, make up the list of topics ahead of time. Place the topics in a jar or basket. Divide the shower into two teams.

For topics, have one set be wedding related objects.

What you Need:
Board (something to hang the photos on)
Photos (8 to 10)-number the photos


How to Play: For this game, take pictures of the bride at various ages (ex. two years old, dance recitals, dances, last week) and pin them to a board. The guests have to guess her age in each picture and write it down. Place or hang the board where guests will see it when they walk in. This one will definitely inspire ohh and ahhs as the guests see photos of the six year old bride to be.

Of course most bridesmaids will be sure to put some embarassing photos of the bride in there-maybe a Halloween in college or her bachelorette party.

Variation: Place the photos on a piece of paper and have the paper copied. Pass around the papers.
